Poly Forum 2026: The Eras Tour

On 24 January 2026, FES organised “Poly Forum 2026: The Eras Tour” for interested students across the four polytechnic Christian Fellowships (CFs). The programme began with a short introduction by the students, followed by a brief recap of the history of all the polytechnic CFs. Afterwards, we broke into small groups and explored the different displays around the room with dedicated sections to different eras of our rich history. Finally, we recorded our findings of the journey of all the CFs and shared them with the room.

One significant realisation the Poly Forum 2026 has left me with is of God’s sovereign hand over each CF. This experience gave me a picture of the not-so-smooth journey the CFs went through up to this point. I was shocked by the number of times in the CFs’ history that issues arose. It was almost as if every era had its own crazy, weird moments. However, I found that despite the highs and lows, the CF somehow always pressed on to the next era with new-found growth and community. Through these stories, I realised how evident God’s great hand and wisdom are in moving throughout the CFs’ long and rocky journey. Without God, we wouldn’t be here after all these years. This taught me a great deal of God’s promises and faithfulness over our community, which spurs me to stay faithful to God’s plans and will over us. I’m ever thankful and hopeful for the CF community and journey to continue for years to come. Knowing God’s great love and power, I’m ever encouraged to stay faithful and sow seeds in this community, to lean on God’s strength and follow in His will for how the CF will move forward in the years to come!
