Pray for:
- The Polytechnic CFs are in the midst of their first semester, with examinations coming up this month. The University CFs are busy with plans for their new academic year, mostly starting in August. Some will be having orientation camps and programmes, while most of them will be preparing for welcome events in the hope of sharing the vision and mission of the CF with new students. Pray for wisdom, discernment, energy, and sustaining grace as student leaders make plans and decisions for the CF and for witness to the campus.
- FES will celebrate the IFES World Student Day (WSD) on 26 September 2026. WSD is a time to share in the solidarity of student movements around the world that witness to the glory of God. This year, the planning committee is looking to address the uncertainties caused by global events such as wars and economic policies, and how students might Lift Up Their Eyes (the WSD theme) to God for their trust and hope. Pray for the student and staff committee as they plan for the event and reach out to fellow student movements to collaborate in prayer with them.
- Missions Education Training (MET1), the FES Missions programme, will begin its second run in October 2026 for interested students from the University and Polytechnic CFs. MET focuses on developing a missional and engagement mindset in the context of local universities and polytechnics. Pray that students may be inspired to live a missional life on campus and learn to meaningfully engage with issues they encounter on campus with the heart and love of Christ.
